Viva Land joined the panel discussion about Vietnam Real Estate Market recovery

On 17 May 2022, Mr. Eddie Lim, CEO of Viva Land was honored to join the panel discussion of the webinar titled: “Vietnam Real Estate Market Recovery Post-Covid Insights into Deals and Market Activities”” organized by Rajah & Tann LCT lawyers.

The hybrid event was successful with the participation of over 150 registered attendees from China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Singapore, United Kingdom, United States etc. The event hosted distinguished guests from JLL Vietnam, Keppel Land, Viva Land, IDEC Asia, Saigon Asset Management (SAM) and Sunwah Kingsway Vietnam (SKV).

The webinar provided in-depth presentations on the outlook for the Vietnam Real Estate sectors which is underpinned by the increased in GDP in the first quarter of 2022, a sharp increase in retail sales and the resumption of international arrivals as well as strong foreign direct investment (FDI) capital disbursement – amongst other favorable economic indicators. In addition, RTLCT lawyers also discussed the key legal and tax considerations for foreign investors looking to participate in the robust Vietnam market.

Joining the live panel discussion together with other market leaders, Mr. Eddie Lim shared about the attractiveness factors of Vietnamese real estate market, his insights of the hospitality segment post covid-19 recovery, and the benefits that Vietnamese partners can bring to foreign investors. Eddie highlighted that the advice for the newcomers investing in Vietnamese real estate is to find a good and trustworthy local partner.
